Nothing can be kept hidden, every shadow and all the layers must be available to the story. This stripping off, this uncovering, this unmasking, is not a process with an end point, it is something infinite: you can dig inside, move other organs, smash the visible surface of skin, open other veins, unlocked repressed feelings…
Finding style, is a war. When you confront your own beast, as we all do, you operate in your self expression of rage.
We designed our Carnage eyewear collection with the same approach : a fight to loot pure style.
We turned to boldly simplified line work, distorted forms, and clashing colors. We added extra enraged feelings to our frames to merge this violence to a beautiful composition.
Carnage is the mise-en scène of destruction as a path toward new way of being.
